Virgin hair is lightly processed and still high quality, but needs gentle care to last.

 

• Gently co-wash before installing – Refresh the hair and remove any factory coating or residue.
• Use sulfate- and paraben-free shampoo/conditioner – Keep the moisture in and the strands strong.
• Don’t overload with product – Use light leave-ins or oils—too much can cause buildup and tangling.
• Brush daily – Detangle with a wide-tooth comb or wig brush, starting from the ends.
• Limit heat styling – Always use a heat protectant and avoid high temperatures.
• Air dry when possible – Blow-drying too often will shorten the lifespan.
• Wrap up before bed – Use a silk/satin scarf, bonnet, or pillowcase to protect the hair overnight.
• No excessive coloring – Virgin hair can be dyed, but frequent color/bleach jobs can shorten its life.
• Keep it moisturized – Use a light hydrating mist or leave-in conditioner every few days.
