• Co-wash before installing – Use a moisturizing conditioner to soften the hair and bring it back to life after shipping.
• Use sulfate-free products only – Avoid shampoos with harsh ingredients to keep the cuticles intact.
• Deep condition regularly – Deep condition every 2–3 weeks to keep the hair soft, shiny, and healthy.
• Minimize heat styling – Use heat protectant and avoid daily flat ironing to prevent damage.
• Air dry whenever possible – Pat dry with a towel and let the hair air dry to avoid heat stress.
• Brush gently – Use a wide-tooth comb or paddle brush starting from the ends upward.
• Wrap at night – Use a satin or silk bonnet/scarf or sleep on a silk pillowcase to reduce frizz.
• Avoid heavy oils – Use lightweight serums or leave-ins to keep the hair nourished without buildup.
• Limit bleaching – While raw hair can handle color, bleaching weakens the strands. Always deep condition after coloring.
